Menu du jour:

  • Pasta salad with carrots, green beans, cheese, roast beef, cabbage, vinaigrette
  • Apple Apricot or Apple peach sauce

  • Salade de pâtes, carottes, chou, fromage, boeuf, haricots verts.
  • Compote de pommes abricots ou pommes pêches

My kids love pasta and I guess it’s fairly common. A pasta salad is always easy to prepare and I know the kids will love it. So, here I was, 7 am in the morning, waking up and wondering what I was going to do for the lunchboxes. This was one of those days where I really, really, had to push myself to prepare lunchboxes. I did not grew up with lunchboxes and, seriously, I think to have to prepare lunchboxes every day is a pain in…(you know what I mean) sometimes.. As for today, I knew I had leftovers pasta and beef from diner. I decided to use this as a base for a salad and then I included pretty much every vegetables I still had in my fridge/freezer that could be added: peel carrots, shred cabbage, microwave – on fast – frozen green beans, cut the cheese (and I am just writing about food here!), add home-made vinaigrette… voila: a salad for lunch!

Ouf!

  1. I’m going to try the cauliflower soup tonight !

    • Great! Tu as regarde toutes les recettes ? Bon diner!
